They need not wait much longer, as Blizzard has announced that Heart of the Swarm will hit digital and retail shelves on March 12, 2013, and bring with it a bevy of options for Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions. While the first entry took care of the Terran side of the story, fans have been eagerly awaiting Heart of the Swarm, the second installment in the StarCraft II trilogy, to tell the story of Sarah Kerrigan and her Zerg hordes. StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty came out over two years ago, but left the current StarCraft story only 1/3 complete.
Sarah Kerrigan’s campaign will continue on March 12, 2013.
